David & Christina Show Episode 36 – Awesome Homemade cooking plus interviews with Alex White & Christo Liberos

Welcome to the David & Christina show.

On the opening talk, David gives his verdict on a spicy curry and chickpea meal that Christina made for him. Christina opens up about her recovery from which it started back in Christmas last year where she had a really bad flu and battling so many infections. She tells us about her journey so far and how little steps are improving her mental health, a real achievement.

On the Corona Diaries, David opens up about his mental health at the present time while also discussing both the governments Christmas idea and local tier restriction.

We have two former guests on the show. David interviews Alex White from the band Lazy Dog Toy After the release of his first single ‘Glorious’ back in August, Alex officially releases the Country Mile EP which features 4 tracks including the title track, ‘Country Mile.’ Alex talks about how he persuaded singers from both USA and Ireland to sing the vocals for his EP.

Christina welcomes back Christos Liberos who is an actor for film, TV and theatre whilst branching out in his career into film production over the last 5 years. Throughout Covid 19, Christos has been working on a short film called ‘Mad How Life Works’ which is about four university friends who meet up for a reunion get together but a secret threatens to destroy their friendship. Christos talks in-depth about the challenges that come with how madhowlifeworks is all put together and goes into great detail about the setting, cast and filming the scenes. Christos also opens up about how his love and passion for acting has helped him progress throughout the years and achieving what he has done in his career.

David & Christina Show Special – Interviews with Hayley from Tonino’s and Lydia Pinfold

Welcome to this special of the David & Christina Show.

On this weeks special, Christina has the pleasure of interviewing Hayley, joint proprietor of Tonino’s Pizzeria in Market Deeping. Still going strong after nearly 20 years, they discuss their passion for Italian food, customer service and the recent revamp of their premises, new opening hours and new menu which includes serving Sunday lunches with an Italian twist. As a regular customer since they opened, Christina rates their restaurant 5 stars for excellent customer service and delicious authentic Italian food cooked by talented head chef/joint proprietor Toni.

Christina also has the pleasure of interviewing Lydia Pinfold – Pinfold Photographic who has the best of both worlds. Passionate about photography, they talk about her love for taking photos, the changes in technology with cameras and her hobby that allows her to photograph the beautiful wildlife around Market Deeping. Earlier this year, Lydia started her own podcast where she talks about her walks, photography and giving her listeners a few tips and advice. Having studied photography and having a love of anything crafty, Lydia talks about her job as a photographer for Honchanda TV.

David & Christina Show Episode 24 – Sofia returns plus interviews with Dubstylecs and Leopard Rays

 

 

Welcome to the David & Christina Show.

This week we welcome back Sofia. She talks about her volunteering at Second Helpings. David discusses his time with Ellie at Hunstanton over the weekend. British weather is always unpredictable and they experience their most terrifying car journey back home!

Over on the Corona diaries, David celebrates 50+ entries. He opens up his pressure and how it has affected him. David also shares his story about how he got together with Ellie and how their love just keeps on growing.

David interviews Marcus from Dubstylecs based in Sweden. Marcus originally into rock music, discovered his passion into transitioning into electronic music, inspired during his time in Valencia in the early 1990’s. We also play his new single ‘Your Smile’ and discuss the makings of the music video.

Christina interviews Luke Dawkins, lead singer and guitarist from Leopard Rays. The Teesside rockers are on fire at the moment with heavy support from BBC Introducing including multiple plays on their two closest stations (Teesside and Newcastle) whilst being included in the national BBC Intro Hot List. Their new 4 track EP released today includes their latest single ‘Times a Factor’ and ‘Day Dream’.
