Both Autistic and Diabetic

Life with Autism

Being a person with both autism and diabetes has its ups and downs.  I do the best I can to sail through the waters smoothly.  I am a good person, a human being just like everyone else, not a hopeless case or a helpless person.  I am driven by motivation and determination to do something amazing, incredible, or tremendous. I have overcome the obstacles of my conditions.

Those of you who deal with both conditions, a diagnosis or discovery is not the end of the world, you can still lead a normal life just like everyone else. Don’t let anyone or anything get in the way of success in whatever you do.  Don’t worry about other people say or think. People who discriminate or say incorrect things are wrong. 1. I too live with disabilities and ailments, mine caused by others (medical field mishap), nonetheless, there are deficits, disabilities, inabilities, syndromes (PTSD, anxiety and more), pain, too much medication and an upside down world from the world I once knew, only 2+ years ago. I agree with you wholeheartedly. The entire experience has given me great strength, tenacity and the desire to do more, be more and make a huge impact in the world. Alas, I sit and wait for a few things to come to a final state, before I can make the impact(s) I wish to make, but patience hasn’t gotten me this far, so it will lead me the rest of the way.

Thank you for sharing your intimate situation – I think it’s beautiful, brave and inspiring. Take care of you, not only won’t anyone else do that job, but you DO have tremendous and amazing things to achieve! ❤ Blessings and love – with a side order of admiration. Kimberly

  3. Thank you for sharing! It’s brave of you to be so forthright. As a writer, it is our life’s work to live vicariously through others. I’m not talking about just the sunshine and rainbows, but the trials and tribulations that make life what it is. This makes us empathetic creatures and even though I don’t suffer through the same things, we all suffer through something. I applaud you for taking it a step further. ❤
