HOW WOULD IT BE TO LIVE WITH SOMETHING ALL YOUR LIFE AND NOT KNOW WHAT IT IS????

Great Autism Recovery

How difficult it is to be and live with something that you have no idea about? This is a heart touching story of Marsha England, 59, who didn’t know all her life what was different about her. She guessed what it was , she took online tests, consulted the doctors but it was only at the age of 58, she got to know what it was. Later, she was formally introduced to her life-long companion.

  1. I love what she says about how finding out is like finding out the name of the street where she has been living! It is so interesting that she named her autism Billy and that Billy is male. She seems so at peace with her discovery. How lovely. Thank you for this.

  2. Fab story. Marvelous to see stories like this as a refreshing break from the “I ‘lost my child to autism’ (implies ‘now my life is **ruined**’).

We all really do reach adulthood and don’t outgrow our autistic traits, talents and challenges. I applaud the UK’s National Autistic Society for their publication for general practice physicians to help them diagnose their adult patients. We desperately need y’all’s sort of rational approach to this here in America. Thanks again, Dave!
