Abstract Ideas

Abstract Ideas

Abstract ideas are the concepts which neither have a specific meaning nor can be explained through real examples. An abstract idea is a way of imagination of a person’s mind as well as heart.

” I think that ideas exist outside of ourselves. I think somewhere, we’re all connected off in some very abstract land. But somewhere between there and here ideas exist.”
– David Lynch (American director, screenwriter, producer, painter)

Abstract ideas may be non-living things brought to life as if they are telling their own new story or may be a description of a thought or an abstract noun like sadness, truth, honesty, etc. This may be a complete boost to one’s imagination while giving an inanimate object a life of its own.

“There is no abstract art. You must always start with something. Afterward you can remove all traces of reality.”
– Pablo Picasso (Spanish painter)
