I have an opinion about life and success with which I know a lot of people disagree. I know this because every time I have stated my opinion I get countless emails telling me how wrong I am.
There are many levels to success-losing weight, making more money, being a better parent, becoming more organized, etc. My opinion is that those who do not succeed simply do not try hard enough. I can hear the roars now, but stop for a moment and think about your failures or shortcomings. Those things you truly desired you worked hard and reached your goal. Those things you didn’t achieve you had waning desire and did not work as hard. I have experienced it and so have you.
So when I get emails from readers asking why they haven’t been able to achieve a certain goal I always ask them about their effort level…

Sometimes true, many of the successful people are hardworking. But there are exceptions. Successful people also says : ‘Work smarter, not harder’. Art is one example, if you try too hard you may ruin a spontaneous work. If you try too hard to loose weight, you may get sick. If you try too hard to get a woman, she may run away.. and so on. In some cases less is more.

Each of us have a responsibility to ourselves, our families, and friends to do the best we can with what we have to accomplish our goals. Each of us travels a different path, and what works for one may not work for others. However, we try, that is the most important thing, just try.

Well that’s refreshing. I don’t think I agree 100% but it certainly got me thinking about a few things! One thing I do know is that a person can’t blame any other person or circumstance for their mistakes or short comings, we are the kings & queens of our own kingdoms! Fab post.

You’re like 90% right, there’s always that 10% of the time when the circumstances are out of your control. Like you work super hard but someone else’s actions get in the way of your success, it happens. But you’re still pretty spot on lol.
