  1. I don’t think it was a good idea. My husband and I are big fans of John Oliver and his show, Last Week Tonight. John did an amazing piece on Brexit. It’s on YouTube.

The more I read about it / hear about it, the more I think the vote will hurt the U.K. in the long-term. However, we will have to wait and see.

  2. I know it’s not my place to say (being an American and all) but I did think it was best. It will be hard at first, but the long term effects will be more beneficial.

  3. I think it will be for the best in the longer term as we develop the strength to stand back on our own two feet. As each year has passed, the UK was becoming weaker and our politics more disappointing. I hope this will re-inspire some great innovation in our Country. I remain hopeful and time will tell…

  4. Not to start a gender war or anything, but now that the Queen has appointed a woman as PM, instead of those 2 other twits involved in all this, I have more faith it will turn out ok in the long run, I can say that, I am a Brit in the US, and still have family there.

  5. This has been noted elsewhere, but I find it highly amusing that James Bond (Daniel Craig) seems to eschew British nationalism. I mean does 007 really think that the EU is going to support all his womanizing and indiscriminate killing? “Do you expect me to talk?” “No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to Brexit.”
