Last night I sat writing with pen and paper, as I often do when I need to sort out things in my head. Today I thought I would give you a taste of what my thought processes look like in the moment, before the edits of logical thought are made.

Do not laugh my brain really does work like this in the silence of itself. In other words when I am not speaking but writing with with pen on paper, this is how my thoughts flow. I was once told by a teacher that I had a poetic mind because as she said, “You think in odd symmetry” It did not make sense to me at the time, but the more I read my rushed and rambled scrawls, I think I understand what she meant.
