  1. Thanks for this interview with Imogene Groome, David. It was good to hear another’s perspective on autism. My husband and I are raising my now 11 year old grandson, who is autistic. I have had him since he was about 2 weeks old, so the road has been an interesting one. He is in mainstream educational classes which seems to have been the best for him. He has had the best resource assistance and support in elementary school. Now he will be in mainstream middle school. We’ll see as time goes on. Thanks again to you and to Imogene.

  2. Great interview. It captures perfectly the life and struggles of autistic people, especially when it comes to choosing a school and applying for a job. Having an autistic brother, I can certainly relate. It’s a journey with no end. 🙂
