Mo chuisle

I found you that night, tired from running away
we embraced, you leaned your head on my shoulder
scarred ,bruised, a smile escaped as you gazed my way
the aftermath of a thousand battles weighed heavy like a boulder

So long you kept your demons at bay
A  radiant light in a world of ashtray
In life’s abyss you were castaway
yet sparkles of your eyes, burned brighter than
the milky way

Like celestial beings we were an equinox
we hid our heats away in pandora’s box
with each pulse, blood coursed ,inked words of virtue
“All the gods, all the heavens, all the hells, are within you”
